1. 서론 (스터디 목적: 딸과 영어로 대화하기!)

30대 초반에 작성했던 내 블로그의 영어 공부에 관한 포스팅을 보았다.

그 당시 열심히 했던 흔적들.. 결과들..

한 동안 잊고 있었던 영어에 대한 나의 열정..

초등학생의 엄마로서 딸과 같이 영어로 대화를 자연스럽게 하고 싶은 것이 나의 소망 중 하나였다.

다시 그 소망을 현실화하기 위해 블로그 포스팅을 계기로 차근히 꾸준히 하려고 한다!

요즘 공부하고 있는 EBS 생활영어는 영어권 국가에서 거주 경험이 전혀 없는 나이기에 리스닝에 대한 고민을 해결해준 프로그램이다. 표현 익히기 너무 좋다 ^---^!!

A professor that I met in college became my mentor.
He taught me so much of what I know in the industry that I'm working in now
and really helped me navigate the job-searching process.
I was the typical stressed-out college student, nervous about finding the perfect job, worried that whether the classes I was taking or the internships I was doing were helping or hurting me to reach that goal.
But one thing that he taught me was that the job-searching process isn't set in stone, and you can keep trying things, taking different jobs, and seeing what you like and dislike. And pretty soon you'll find that there are a list of things that you really feel happy about doing at the end of the day.
